From the 19th ’till the 24th of decembre, Studio Brussel, a Belgian radio station, organizes  ‘Music for life’. This yearly charity project is becoming a very popular Christmas tradition in Flanders.  3 ‘famous’ radio presenters will be locked up in a house (read: radio studio) of glass. They won’t eat all week long, they only drink a few juice mixes a day AND they’ll be on air 24 on 24 hours a day!

This year all benefits will be used to help refugee mothers, a project supported by the red cross. A whole bunch of very little and also very big projects are organized by whoever wants to do it. The main aim of the project is to sell music, but basically everything to collect some money for … is aloud!

If you are willing to support this beautiful project, you are very welcome to select you favorite music track, and send money via this site!

You can also bye several things -like nice picture of known photographers!! in the project ‘pictur for life’- on Ebay. Hope you all support this great initiative!!

As I mentioned in this post, we went out for a weekend in ‘Haspengouw’ more specifically in Borgloon. We had the opportunity to stay in a very nice,  still active farm from which a part is renovated into very cosy guest room and a restaurant were you can try out delicious  local meals.

An abstract interpretation...

What else is more relaxing then walking around at the country side of the  idyllic region ‘Haspengouw‘,  part the Belgian province ‘Limburg’?

Last weekend we had the opportunity to fully enjoy this beautiful environment and,  the weather was with us!

True, it was actually pretty cold (nearly freezing), but the sky was clear and more importantly,
night-frost gave the  landscape that extra little bit … Continue reading

On safari-trips in aswel Chobe (Botswane) as Kruger national park (South Africa) I tried to capture elephant silhouettes against the late afternoon sunlight.

I really enjoyed the safari trips, I hope you do like the pictures…

The belgian summers are not always what they suppose to be…
and our coast does not allow wave surfing.

Although, we ‘ve got a lot of wind all year long,
which makes kitesurfing possible!!

I took this picture last summer at the Belgian Coast, nearby ‘Knokke-Heist‘…
