An old syrup factory I

Few weeks ago we spent a weekend in the beautifull town Borgloon (Belgium, Limburg).  Besides enjoying the beautifull country side, we visited the old syrup factory which is still, although in a lesser extent, active. 

‘Loonse stroop’ (= syrup from the area of Loon) realy is a specialty of this area. (not surpricingly this area is full of apple and pear orchards)
