A few snapshots of  interesting Japanese persons,
Hope you enjoy!

Kyoto, Traditional

While visiting the Kiyomizu Temple complex, we were lucky to walk into two traditionally dressed Geisha girls which were posing for some  ’real photographers’.

One of the next days, we witnessed  the beginning of wedding in traditional Japanese clothing.

That’s it for now!

Kyoto, the temples

The Golden Pavilion. This is one of sacral places Japanese schoolchildren  visit during their education.  Although this magnificent building is located in the middle of a park at the shore of a lake, due to the overflow of visitors it is rather hectic than quiet over there.

The same was true for Kiyomizu Temple complex. Many many schoolbusses had dropped off kids over there. Nevertheless, the wide green environment with nice and well-maintained footpaths allows one to escape the crowd.

A close up shot of one of the beautifully colored buildings of the Kiyomizu Temple complex to end with.

Kyoto

Kyoto, Japan

A lot (and I really mean ‘a lot’) of travel pictures are waiting for me to select and process them. Time is the issue…
But I am glad to say that I finally managed to go through the pictures I took in Japan last year! I spent a couple of days in Kyoto for other business, but ‘before and after’ I had the chance to visit some of the magnificent temples and pavilions in the green surroundings of this big city.

certainly more to come!

LadyLinn,

one of the promising Belgian artists, who gratefully accepted two Music Industry Awards or “MIA’s“. She came out as best in both the categories “Best Pop” and “Best female Singer”. The music is a nice and original mix of soul and pop, best known of the summer hit  ”I don’t wanna dance

Three more pictures I took enjoying the wonderful landscape created by Mr. Frost. This time I focused on the remaining snowflakes which were hardly trying to balance on the twigs and to withstand the morning sun.

with my new Sigma Macro lens (150mm/2.8).

I was looking  (read:gazing) already a while for a real macro lens. After reading a couple of reviews (among other the one from Sam Mannaerts), I decided to go for the Sigma 150mm which should combine ultimate sharpness and a nice DOF.

Here are some results of my first experience outside with this wonderful piece of glass!

After ‘part 1′, we went on to a very nice green environment. A calm, unstressfull atmosphere in which Nele and Joris fully enjoyed being together.
I was honored to be an eye witness,  and.. I ‘m willing the share!
